More Than Rugby. More Than a Club.

Crompton Coaching Club is a female-led coaching community redefining what it means to train, play, and grow through rugby. Founded by Olympian Grace Crompton, fresh from representing Team GB 7s at the Paris 2024 Olympics and with elite experience at Harlequins and Bristol, the club brings world-class insight and inspiration to the grassroots of the game.

At its core, Crompton Coaching Club is about more than just developing rugby players - it’s about building confident, empowered young women. Through structured group training, 1:1 coaching, and ongoing social connection, the club offers consistent, high-quality engagement beyond the standard camp format. This is rugby with purpose - a supportive, high-performance environment where athletes thrive.

Grace Crompton grew up loving sport, immersing herself in everything from netball and hockey to rounders—but athletics was her first true passion. While she enjoyed it, she soon found herself missing the sense of community that sport can bring. By chance, one of her teachers introduced her to rugby, and her path was forever changed.

Grace quickly progressed, playing at Rosslyn Park before being scouted for the England U18s. She went on to represent England U20s and joined Bristol Bears while studying Sports Management and Coaching BSc at Bath University, balancing high-performance sport with academic demands.

Her rugby career continued to flourish as she earned a place in the GB Sevens squad, competing on the World Sevens Series. Grace has proudly represented Great Britain at the Commonwealth Games, the Sevens World Cup, and most recently at the Paris 2024 Olympics. She also plays 15s rugby for Harlequins, enjoying the balance between the speed and freedom of Sevens and the structure and depth of the 15s game.

Today, Grace is passionate about sharing her experience with the next generation. She is dedicated to helping young athletes believe in themselves and ensuring no one misses out on the incredible opportunities rugby can offer.
